Armenian Alphabet Monument
The monument to the Armenian alphabet is located on the eastern slope of Mount Aragats. It was built in 2005 and includes ornaments of 39 letters of the Armenian alphabet and monuments of great Armenians.
Dendropark
The pine Garden named after Edmond Leonovich is also known as the Stepanavan Arboretum. It is located in the village of Gulagarak, Lori region, 12 km from the city of Stepanavan.In 1998, the territory was designated as a special protection zone.17.5 hectares of the park territory is a natural forest, and 15 hectares of ornamental trees. The territory of the Botanical Garden is about 35 hectares. It consists of natural forests, ornamental plants, small avenues of lime trees, and other types of plants of wild origin.
Lori Berd Fortress
Lori Fortress is a medieval impregnable fortress in the Lori region, 5 km from Stepanavan. It is located at the intersection of the Dzoraget and Umrut gorges. It is included in the list of immovable historical and cultural monuments of the Lori Fortress.
Haghpat Monastery
In the vicinity of the city of Alaverdi, on a plateau surrounded by gorges, there has been a large monastery for more than 10 centuries, which became the spiritual and cultural center of the Lori Kingdom, and soon the whole of Armenia. The buildings of Haghpat are beautiful, besides they are quite well preserved. In addition, in Haghpat there is a rare khachkar "Amenaprkich" ("The Savior"), masterfully executed in 1273 - it depicts a crucifixion, which is not typical for the Armenian tradition.
